Harry Styles delighted fans as he arrived at the Met Gala 2019 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday.
Taking into consideration the event's Camp: Notes on Fashion theme, the former One Direction star, 25, pulled out all the stops in a semi-sheer black lace ensemble, one dangling pearl earring and heels.
Arriving along Gucci's designer, Alessandro Michele, the British hitmaker, who is part of this year's Met Gala committee, looked in high spirits as he posed away on the red carpet.

Harry commanded attention in the black ensemble which bared a glimpse of his body in the semi-sheer number which boasted black ruffling down the centre.
The garment showed off his flair for fashion with ruched semi-sheer sleeves, ending in a lace fluting which showed off his various inkings.
The Dunkirk actor made a simple, yet stylish impact with a sole pearl drop earring which proved to be in the shape of a bee with diamond wings

Put a bow on it like Harry in a sheer black blouse
Named the "king of camp" by Vogue, Harry Styles did not disappoint at this year's Met Gala red carpet.
Wearing custom Gucci (of course), the musician donned a sheer black blouse boasting puff sleeves, a pussy bow collar and lace detailing.
He paired the top with high-waisted black trousers, and mid-heel patent black boots. He even sported a single pearl earring and metal rings shaped as his initials.
A great thing about a pussy bow is that it adds a bit of flair to any outfit while still embracing its traditional persona. Gucci modernized this popular style blouse by designing it with the sheer material.
While this particular blouse isn't available to us, you can liven up your look this spring with a pussy blow blouse of your own! Make it a more casual look with a pair of black jeans and stylish trainers.

This year, the exhibit and gala are dedicated to the idea of 'camp,' as defined by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay Notes on 'Camp.'
The Met Gala, formally known as the Costume Institute Benefit, is always chaired by a team of high-wattage celebrities, and this year is no exception.
The event is chaired by pop star and actress-of-the-moment Lady Gaga, tennis star Serena Williams, and singer Harry Styles, along with Gucci designer Alessandro Michele and, as always, Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Wintour said she believes this year's Met Gala to be about 'self expression' and 'individuality', noting that she wanted to see 'outrageous, fun, tongue in cheek' fashion on the red carpet.
Attendance is by invitation only, and word has it that Vogue editor extraordinaire Anna has the final say over each person on the guest list.
The new theme seems decidedly more lighthearted than last year's hugely successful Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, about the relationship between fashion and Catholicism.
