“Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is expected to come with triple rear cameras, pop-up slider, and Android 9.0 Pie”
Huawei’s P Smart Z smartphone surfaced on the internet last week. It is expected to be the company’s first phone to feature a pop-up selfie camera, a no-notch design and a two-tone finish on the back resembling the original Pixel phones. Now, another Huawei phone, dubbed Y9 Prime 2019 has leaked online, revealing the elevating selfie camera to accommodate a notch-less display and a similar two-tone rear design.
In the leaked image, unlike the P Smart Z, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is seen sporting a triple rear camera setup. While the former is expected to pack a combination of 16MP + 2MP rear sensors, the latter is said to include an additional 8MP wide-angle shooter with 120-degree field of view. While it is not confirmed, rumours suggest the Y9 Prime 2019 will cost less than $300 (around Rs 21,000), when launched. However, the rest of the specifications and details about the phone are scarce at the moment, but we expect it to be powered by the in-house Kirin 710 SoC on board.
As for the P Smart Z, the handset is rumoured to sport a 6.59 inch full-HD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is likely to be powered by the Kirin 710 12nm chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB onboard storage, with the option to expand it further up to 512GB. Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI skin on top will take care of the software side of things. On the front, the handset is expected to feature a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. A 4,000mAh battery might fuel the phone. It could measure 63.5 x 77.3 x 8.9mm and weigh 197 grams.
Since nothing is official yet, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt and wait for an official announcement from Huawei.
