A mother was left horrified after she found her daughter sucking on a condom which she allegedly found in the playground of a McDonald's restaurant.
The woman, only named as Annie, from Emerald in the Central Highlands of Queensland, read about a similar incident in Perth and reached out to share her story.
Annie told The Courier Mail she had taken her two-year-old daughter to the local McDonald's as a treat.

She sat down with her food while daughter was running around in the outdoor play area.
But after just 15 minutes her daughter came bounding over to show Annie something she had discovered outside.
'She said "Mummy, look!" and started to put it in her mouth. I was like "oh!" and smacked it out of her hand and it went underneath the table,' the mother told the publication.

Her daughter was in the process of trying to blow the condom up like a balloon when her mother took it from her.
'This man behind me said "what's wrong love?" and I said "she just literally put a condom in her mouth from the playground!"' she said.
Annie immediately asked her daughter if the condom was in a packet when she found it but was told the condom was found unwrapped.
It was unclear whether or not the condom had been used.
Annie claims that when she told staff about the condom they said it was probably left in the play area as a joke.
'I said "joke or not, my kid's just had it in her mouth. I don't know where it's been," I literally left all my meal on the table and I said "the condom's still under the table in the restaurant",' she said.

McDonald's staff apologised for the incident and asked for Annie's email, but she never heard anything back.
Annie said she hadn't been back to McDonald's since and didn't know how to explain the situation to her daughter, who thought she was playing with a balloon.
Annie's story comes less than a month after a Perth mother found her two-year-old daughter with a used condom in her mouth at Warnbro McDonald's.
The child's mother, identified as Wendy, said she didn't know how her daughter got hold of the condom.
'I went back up to the counter to order something and my daughter was with my husband, I don't know how it happened but when my husband next looks at her, she's sucking on a black condom,' Wendy told 10 daily.
'I ran into the bathrooms, washed her mouth and hands and came out and gave her a drink. We were terrified.'
Daily Mail Australia has contacted McDonald's for comment.
