Driver involved in Spokane Valley crash in custody\, suspected of DUI

Breaking news happening now in a woman is suspected of driving under the influence and causing a crash that injured one person-- this evening--at trent and pines in the valley-- and then tried to run away from the scene.

The suspect rear-ended another car -- and that car rolled... Seriously hurting the driver inside.

W-s-p tells us when the car rolled... The woman who hit it tried to drive off... But she got stuck on the railroad tracks parallel to trent.

Witnesses say a train even had to be stopped because of that stuck car.

The suspect tried to run away from her car and was quickly arrested... These are photos from just a couple of hours ago that a witness sent us-- the suspect has been arrested for driving under the influence... And felony hit and run.

The driver who was hurt is in serious condition, but is expected to survive.

Eastbound trent is closed in that area as crews work to get that car off of the tracks.
