Get Your 1990s BMW Fix With These Beautiful Individual 850Ci And 750iL

The 1990s were if not the, one of the best decades for BMW, as it built some of its most respectable cars that truly were the ultimate driving machines. That goes not only for its M-branded performance cars, but also, its regular lineup.

While we can think of several other 1990s BMWs that we’d have preferred over the 850Ci and 750iL pictured here, we’d have no objection adding them to our fantasy garage if money was no object. What makes these two cars, which we discovered at the AutoLeitner car dealership (here and here) located in the Netherlands, a lot more desirable and rare, is that they’re factory-customized Individual models

Both the 1995 850Ci and 1999 750iL (the year represents the build in Europe, not the ‘model year’ as in North America) get BMW’s silky-smooth 5.4-liter V12 engine rated at the time at 324 and 326 horsepower, respectively, coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission.

1999 BMW 750iL Individual

The more affordable of the two is the sumptuous 7-series, which has a €39,500 ($44,325) sticker price. It was built in 1999, sports a BMW Individual chameleon exterior over an Individual beige leather interior and has only 107,000 km (66,487 miles) on the clock.

More importantly, everything appears to be in pristine condition and this luxury cruiser features a lot of amenities, including electric seats with massage function, sunroof, two on-board telephones, navigation, TV, rear radio controls and air conditioning, premium sound system, adjustable suspension and many more.

1995 BMW 850Ci Individual

Moving on to the 850Ci, it was made in 1995, is priced at €49,500 ($55,547) and was driven for 87,000 km (54,059 miles). It’s one of 1,218 units built to this specification, has a Tobago Blue metallic exterior on the outside and an Individual blue/black leather interior.

Like the aforementioned flagship sedan, the two-door model has a lot of equipment, including electric seats, BMW Business stereo system, air conditioning, cruise control, headlight washers, tinted glass and others.

It comes with the complete tool kit, three original keys, brochure and a full service history that dates back to June 16, 1995.

Both cars look excellent and are a great reminder of the 1990s, but if you would have to limit your selection to one, which would you take home?
