Ahmedabad to record maximum of about 41° Celsius

AHMEDABAD: The weather on Sunday is not likely to be too friendly, as the Gujarat office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a maximum temperature of around 41°C in Ahmedabad.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad was 40.4°C, 0.8 degrees below normal, according to the IMD.

“Light rain and thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat region, and Rajkot and Kutch in the Saurashtra-Kutch region, the IMD has forecast.
Kandla airport was the hottest weather station in Gujarat, with a maximum temperature of 42.6°C, followed by Rajkot (41.9°C), Bhuj (41.8°C), Surendranagar (41.6°C) and Gandhinagar (41°C).
