Swarshilpa musical entertains audience

Nagpur: Musical programme ‘Kahani Do Lafzon Ki’, organized by Swarshilpa, entertained the audience at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar, on Saturday.
Singers above 40 years of age performed at the programme that was conceptualized by Bhagyashree Baraskar. This was the first show of the two-day musical event.
The programme began with Lata Mangeshkar’s memorable song ‘Aayega aane waala aayega’ presented by Bhagyashree. This was followed by songs ‘Baar baar dekho’, ‘Woh hai zara khafa khafa’, ‘Zara hole hole chalo mere sajna’, ‘Jhumka gira re Bareli ke bazaar mein’, ‘Yeh ladka haye Allah’, ‘Zara zara behkta hai’, ‘Dil diwana bin sajna ke maane na’, ‘Hasta hua noorani chehra’, ‘Neele neele ambar’, ‘Sajnaji vari vari’, ‘Gore gore o banke chhore’, ‘O mere sona re’ and ‘Parda parda’.
The enthusiastic audience at the annual programme of Swarshilpa was cheering the singers as they presented popular songs.
The programme started with the lighting of a traditional lamp by Shweta Shelgaonkar, Nandu Gohane and Bhagyashree Baraskar. Shelgaonkar was the anchor.
The songs were presented by Bhagyashree Baraskar, Padashree Deshpande, Prachi Joshi, Sangeeta Idle, Vaishali Talewar, Dr Aarti Kalore, Prajakta Deshpande, Anandita Chatterji, Dr Shantala Bhole, Sangeeta Karandikar, Gauri Dongre, Radhika Pathak, Tanya Mundle, Vaishali Dev and Dr Sadashiv Bhole.
Aniket Dahikar (tabla), Parimal Joshi (keyboard), Nandu Gohane (octopad) and Vasant (guitar) were the accompanying artistes.
