MUMBAI: The 50 SSC students from KES English Medium School,
Karjat, who lost their chance to
avail of extra marks for participation in extra-curricular activities, were on Friday assured by education minister Vinod Tawde that they would not lose out the marks.
The school did not submit applications on time to the state board, so the students could not avail of the extra marks. The students' parents on Thursday held a chain
hunger strike in protest that lasted for a day.
