NEET 2019 postponed in Odisha; revised date to be announced soon

NEW DELHI: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 has postponed in Odisha due to Cyclone Fani. The NEET 2019 has postponed as per the request of state government working on relief and rehabilitation work.
R. Subrahmanyam, Higher Education Secretary told ANI that the NEET exam scheduled for 5th May in Odisha postponed as per the request of state government working on relief and rehabilitation work in the wake of Cyclone Fani. He also said that revised dates for NEET 2019 in Odisha will be announced soon.
At least 12 people were killed as Cyclone Fani hit Odisha on Friday morning. Massive rescue and rehabilitation operations have been launched in Odisha since the severe cyclonic storm made landfall at Puri.
