“The Honor 20 Pro will be launched on May 21st in London alongside the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Moschino Edition”
The launch date for Honor’s latest flagship smartphones has already been set. The Honor 20 series will be revealed at an event in London on May 21st. We expect the Huawei subsidiary to launch at least three variants of the phone, a standard Honor 20, the Honor 20 Pro, and the Honor 20 Moschino Edition. The Honor 20 Pro is the top-end model and will reportedly feature quad rear cameras. Now, new leaked images of the phone reveal that the phone will also come with a punch-hole camera.
We have seen plenty of leaked images/renders of the phone, but there haven’t been any clear pictures of the front. Most recently, the Honor 20 Pro leaked online revealing the back of the device. It revealed the quad-camera setup on the back, which is similar to the Huawei P30 Pro. The new images now show the front of the phone, and the punch hole camera as well. You can also see that the bezels are slim all around. The punch hole camera is placed on the left top corner of the phone.
These images were reportedly sent to Digital Trends by a reliable source and pretty much confirm the front design of the phone. In the first image, the parrot’s eye is the front facing camera. The phone will use the same display technology that was found on the Honor View 20, which was one of the first phones to feature a punch hole camera. Also seen in the images, is the retail packaging for the phone, with Honor 20 Pro written on the side. Look more closely at the icons on the screen and you will see Fortnite already installed. It is possible that the phone could come preloaded with the game.
The Honor 20 Pro is expected to be powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It should also feature fast charging support, Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9 software, and other features borrowed from the Huawei P30 series. We should know all the details in a few weeks!
