Ujjain: Accused who looted a student of Manovikas College some days ago have been arrested, claimed police officials in a press conference held on Saturday. The police stated that on April 23 two miscreants forcefully dragged 18-year-old Pankaj son of Indrajeet Jaat, a resident of Bhartapur Rajsthan and a student of DEd of Manovikas College to climb on their bike. They then took him to an isolated place where their two aides were already present and looted a mobile phone and cash from the boy. On basis of the complaint of the victim, a complaint was registered an FIR against the miscreants under relevant sections of the IPC and started manhunt.
According to police after investigation Mohammed Aftab (18), Mudassir, Anas and Amir Kala alias Sebada and recovered cash Rs 4000, mobile phone and vehicle they used in committing the crime. The police said the accused have been involved in other similar crimes in which FIRs were registered in Dewasgate and Nagziri police station against them. Local made pistol and 7 mobile phones looted in other separate incidents of crime have also been recovered from their possesion.
