Young motorbike rider fighting for life after Lancelin sand dune crash

An off-road motorbike rider is fighting for life after a crash in Lancelin on Saturday morning.

The rider, a man in his 20s, was riding in the sand dunes when he came off, receiving life-threatening injuries, according to a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman.

The man was found unconscious at the scene.

An RAC rescue helicopter was dispatched to Lancelin oval just before 11.30am to take the man to Royal Perth Hospital.
