BHOPAL: Prime accused in rape and murder of minor girl at Manua Bhan Ki Tekri will have to will have to undergo a DNA test. The minor had gone with Bua (paternal aunt) who is also minor, to Manua Bhan Ki Tekri under Koh-e-Fiza police station. Bua’s boyfriends also accompanied them. According to the police the prime accused in the case is one of her boyfriends, who is already in police remand. As per the police, it has been crystal clear that prime accused is involved in rape and murder of minor girl. Both the boyfriends Avinash and Jastin are adults.
Avinash Sahu (18) was arrested for offences of rape and murder under the IPC and under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The girl was visiting with her 16-year-old aunt on Tuesday evening when Sahu, who knew the latter, took the girl away to a secluded spot when the aunt was not around, police said. He allegedly raped the girl and then crushed her head with stones.
ASP Manu Vyas said, “DNA test of Avinash Sahu will be conducted. It is part of investigation. We have not arrested Bua or her other boyfriend Jastin. We are probing the role of Bua and Jastin in the case. We are connecting the links before arriving at any conclusion. DNA test will clear the picture in this sensitive matter. Only after collecting all the evidence, will we take any action against Bua and Jastin.”
