Tree falls on car: Two killed

Mangaluru: Two youth were killed on the spot and two others were severely injured after a huge tree got uprooted and fell on a moving car near Ujire on Saturday.
The deceased are Vignesh, 21, a resident of Ujire and his friend Kshitij Jain, 24, a residents of Madanthyar. According to police, the airbag of the car saved the other two occupants of the car. The injured are being treated at a private hospital. It is learnt that they were returning after offering prayers at Sri Manjunatha temple, Dharmasthala
A case has been registered at Belthangady police station.
