Parag was a member of the World Cup-winning India's under-19 team in 2018.

Rajasthan Royals' Riyan Parag has become the youngest player to score an IPL half-century. The 17-year-old from Assam achieved this feat against Delhi Capitals in a match in New Delhi on Saturday .

Parag, who made his IPL debut this year, has so far played seven matches, scoring 160 runs at an average of 40. His strike-rate is 128.0.

He is also a leg-break bowler and has so far taken two wickets (before today’s game).

He made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings on April 11.

Parag was a member of the World Cup-winning India's under-19 team in 2018.
