Six persons, including three women, were injured when two groups hurled stones at each other over a minor dispute at Khaikheda village under the station limits in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Saturday.

According to (SHO) Jitender Kumar, the incident occurred on Friday, following an altercation between a man and a woman. The altercation turned into a violent clash involving two groups which hurled stones and bricks at each other, the said.

The injured -- Bidyawati, Rinu, Mamta, Chatrapal, Deepak and -- were rushed to a hospital, the SHO said.
