BHOPAL: Ex-chief minister and the Congress candidate from Bhopal Digvijaya Singh started his Pad Yatra from Imami Gate, here on Friday. He started the yatra from the Gate situated in the North Vidhan Sabha area and marched towards the ground situated near the corporator Ravi Gupta and addressed the public meeting. The rally crossed Kabatipura, Rafia School, Shiv temple, Goutam Nagar, Krishna colony, Sheetla Mata temple and Holi square. The residents showered flowers on the rally and at many places women and businessmen offered garland to the leader.
While addressing the meeting he stated that he will going to implement the Bhopal Vision Document. He added that the local problems of the area like, health, drinking water facilities will be ensured and importantly the compensation of the Bhopal gas will be distributed. Earlier the leader took the meeting of the Mandlam, sector and polling station in charges. He asked them to motivate and bring the voters to the polling station in more number.
Singh focuses on live contact
Singh is focussing on contacting as many people as possible in a day during his Vidhan Sabha constituency-wise route of yatra. He has planned to meet the party workers and voters of the area. He is not leaving any opportunity to make live contact with the voters.
