BJP candidate from West Bengal injured in road accident

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Bangaon Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal met with a road accident on Saturday.

Shantanu Thakur sustained serious head injuries in the road accident when his car collided with a police vehicle.

The accident happened near North 24 Parganas's Jagulia area.


He has been taken to Bangaon Medical College and Hospital where he's being treated of his injuries.

According to the reports, efforts are being made to shift him to a hospital in Kolkata.
