New Delhi, Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s ‘video game’ jibe at Congress claims of having done six surgical strikes during the UPA rule, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the Army was not his personal property and charged him with insulting the armed forces.
‘The Army, Air Force or Navy are not personal properties of Narendra Modi ji like he thinks. When he says that surgical strikes during UPA were done in video games then he is not insulting Congress but the Army,’ Mr Gandhi said while addressing a press conference .
Charging the PM with politicising the armed forces, Mr Gandhi said, ‘He shouldn’t politicise the Army. He cannot insult Army jawans. Insulting Army is insulting the nation.’
