AHMEDABAD: Just days after a man threw acid on his wife, a 15-year-old girl was threatened with acid attack by a youth in Amraiwadi on Tuesday. Police sources said that the accused, Chirag Parmar, used to follow the girl daily to her tuition class on his bike, intercept her, and ask her to ride with him. The girl, a Class X student, had kept her mother informed about her continuing ordeal.
According to the FIR, the girl's mother had often complained about Parmar to his mother, Bhagwati Parmar."On every occasion, Parmar's mother would assure the girl's mother that her son won't do it again," said a senior police official.
The FIR lodged by the girl's mother mentions that on Tuesday while she had gone out with her daughter for shopping to a nearby handloom shop, Parmar again intercepted her and told her mother to send the girl with him on his bike or he would spoil her face by throwing acid on her.
"Parmar then called his brother Aashish and his mother. They arrived and started quarrelling with the girl's mother," the official said.

"However, with the intervention of locals the matter ended and the girl's mother approached us with the complaint," said a police official.
A senior police official of Amraiwadi police station said: "We have arrested all the accused."
