NEW DELHI: The CBSE Class XII Result 2019 was released on Thursday, May 02, 2019, for all regions. The total pass percentage for the country is 83.4%. The results available on the official website of the CBSE - cbse.nic.in and CBSE Results portal - cbseresults.nic.in.

Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora top CBSE Class 12 exam, both score 499 out of 500 marks. Rishikesh's Gaurangi Chawala, Raebareli's Aishwarya and Bhavya from Jind bag second rank; they score 498 out of 500. Neeraj Jindal and Mehak Talwar from Delhi among 18 students to rank third in Class 12 CBSE exams.


The top three performing regions are Thiruvananthapuram with 98.2 per cent, Chennai region with 92.93 per cent and New Delhi with 91.87 pass percentage.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 exams this year started in February and completed in April 2019. More than 31 lakhs students had appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams in 2019 that were held at 4,974 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. Around 13 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination conducted by the CBSE.

Last year, 11,86,306 students took the board exams at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres across the world. The exams were held between March 5 and April 13.
