Albuquerque, NM, May 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Associa Canyon Gate recently hosted two legislative update seminars to educate board members on changes to the New Mexico Homeowners Association Act.
The events hosted more than 70 attendees and were conveniently located at the Santa Fe and Albuquerque offices. Guest presenters, Lynn Krupnik, community association attorney with Lynn Krupnik, Krupnik & Speas, PLLC; and John Krueger, vice president of government affairs with Associa, discussed the recent legislative changes, different laws that apply to condominium associations, industry trends, and how communities of all types are handling legislation in different markets.
“Laws, legalese, and even governing documents are often difficult to decode for board members and residents,” stated Kim Corcoran, Associa Canyon Gate president. “But it is crucial for board members to understand and implement each changing trend. Canyon Gate offered these educational seminars so attendees could learn how the laws apply to their associations, about new industry trends in legislation, and how best to lead their community with confidence.”
