Kanpur: Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party-Lohia (PSPL) president
Shivpal Yadav on Thursday said “SP, BSP and BJP are untrustworthy as they have failed to keep the promises made to the people”.
“No one in the society has benefitted due to the policies of the BJP governments in UP and at the Centre,” he said at an election rally at Muslim Inter College ground in Fatehpur in support of party candidates from Fatehpur and Banda Lok Sabha constituencies where voting will be held on May 6.
PSPL has fielded Mahesh Chandra Sahu from Fatehpur and Jagmohan Yadav from Banda.
“The BJP had promised to bring back black money stashed in overseas banks but it did nothing,” he said.
He also took a jibe at the saffron party while asking people whether the Modi government has deposited Rs 15 lakh in their bank accounts as promised. “Did anyone receive Rs 15 lakh promised by BJP in 2014,” he questioned the crowd.
He also said that PM Modi had stated in 2014 that BJP government would give employment to two crore youths every year. “Where have the jobs gone, nobody knows,” said Shivpal and added, “Similarly, demonetisation implemented by BJP government in 2016 did not yield any positive result.”
Likewise, SP and BSP have failed to keep the promises made to the people.
He also exuded confidence of winning Firozabad seat from where he is fray against his nephew Akshay Yadav.
