Good morning travis l3 travis: white well erica... the campaign's theme is " i just didn't know" .... meaning...most teens and adults weren't aware of the dangers caused by e-cigarettes l3: teen vaping white new ad campaign to stop teen vaping the foundation for a healthy kentucky the campaign includes p-s-a's featuring kids across kentucky sharing what they've learned about those dangers.
They say vaping among teens has risen 78-percent among high schoolers and 48- percent among middle schoolers in the past year.
They say now... one in five high school students, and one in twenty middle school students are vaping.
The foundation also says that e- cigarettes contain dangerous levels of nicotine that harms the brain development of children... as well as carcinogens, heavy metals and flavorings that cause cancer and lung damage.
L3 travis: white and the centers for disease control and prevention says it's very clear that e- cigarettes are not safe for children.
