Para spiker Naresh Yadav was clearly floored when he was named the captain of the Indian team in the forthcoming World Series (Para) Volleyball Championship in Pingtan (China). But what worried him the most was the funds that he needs to take part in the series.

Responding to a report published in The Hindu in these columns about the athlete seeking financial support to make it to the World Series, Hyderabad-based Knot Solutions chief operations officer Ranjith Movva personally handed over a cheque for ₹1.40 lakh to him.

Mr. Ranjith said Naresh epitomises human spirit of sheer grit and determination and an example of how one can push boundaries to achieve one’s dream, despite several odds. “The management and the employees of Knot Solutions Pvt. Ltd responded positively and contributed towards the required funds to help Naresh take part in the World series,” he said.

CEO Sumanth Konuru said it was a small contribution to help Naresh achieve his dream of representing India at the Olympics.

Sports has been an integral part of Knot Solutions, which was founded in 2006 and now a CMMI Level-3 certified company with its headquarters in the city and branches in Hyderabad, Singapore and Dubai.

“We recently sponsored Telangana under-13 football team in a national-level championship and also the first Indian Rythmic Gymnastics Cup held in the city recently,” Mr. Sumanth said.

On the occasion, Naresh thanked the top brass of Knot Solutions for extending financial support to him.
