Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani is a real-life story of Kargil hero Captian Vikram Batra. Recently Karan Johar announced the beginning of this new journey on his social account.  It is a Dharma Production movie and Sidharth Malhotra was seen training himself to play the role of an army captain.

Not just this, Sidharth Malhotra also showed his excitement for the movie and wrote, "Excited to play Vikram Batra, a real-life hero on screen! Titled - #Shershaah! Shooting begins soon

He is actually excited to play the role of Captain Vikram Batra on the screen.

Along with Sidharth Malhotra, we will get to see Kiara Advani in the lead role. Until now, no confirmation on Kiara's role in the movie was made. But now the makers have confirmed the news. 

Actor Kiara Advani will play the female lead in the film, to be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The movie is co-produced by Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi. Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, the shooting of the film is set to begin soon.
