education Updated: May 02, 2019 16:18 ISTCBSE has declared the results for Class 12th Board exam 2019. Out of around 12 lakh candidates who had appeared for the exam, 83.4% successfully passed.
Candidates can check their results online at cbse.nic.in, www.results.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in.The schools will automatically get their entire Schools results on email id’s already registered with the Board.
Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for the CBSE revaluation. Applicants are advised to visit CBSE’s website for the status of verification request.
Candidates will have to apply online for revaluation from May 4 to 8 (5PM) by paying a processing fee of Rs 500.
For re-evaluation, candidates need to apply between May 24 and 25 (5 PM) with a processing charge of Rs 100.Request for re-evaluation/challenges shall be accepted only for theory portion .
Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their answer books need to apply from May 20 to 21 (5 PM) with a processing fee of Rs 700. Only those candidates who will apply for verification of Marks Online will be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of answer book(s) in that/those subject(s).
Candidates have to deposit processing charge online through credit/debit card or net banking. Processing charges are non refundable.
An official notice issued by CBSE says, “For all the three steps, candidates have to make separate application and pay the processing charges separately. Only one application for each step per candidate will be accepted in online process. Candidate must decide in advance whether he/she has to apply for one subject or multiple subjects.”
In cases where there is change in marks (increase or decrease), such candidates shall have to surrender the mark sheet which is in their possession. Thereafter, they shall be issued a new Mark sheet.
The applicant will have to refer to the marking scheme in the subject concerned which would be available on the website alongwith the question paper. Thereafter, candidates can submit application for re-valuation in the required question(s) with reasoning.
Status of revaluation shall be uploaded on the website followed by a formal letter by speed post. Decrease even by one mark shall be effected. No appeal or review against the re-evaluation would be entertained.
