Senior Congress leader Rajiv Shukla claimed that ‘six surgical strikes’ had been carried out during the UPA regime, provides dates. Speaking at a press conference on May 2, Shukla said, ‘We never did chest thumping. The one who did only one surgical strike is patting his back’. He further added that six surgical strikes were conducted under the Congress-led UPA regime between 2004 and 2014, while two were carried out during the tenure of late former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
