11 arrested for flesh trade from Kurukshetra hotel

KURUKSHETRA: The Kurukshetra police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a sex racket with the arrest of 11 persons during raids.

Kurukshetra Superintendent of Police (SP) Astha Modi said a team of district women police stationed near Geeta Dwar on Pipli Chowk raided several hotels in Kurukshetra following a tip off that one Nisha Talwar, who is involved in flesh trade and even served jail terms, was present here. A team led by SHO Sunita raided Hotel Swagtam on Ambala-Kurukshetra road and arrested six men and five women.
A case against all the arrested accused, including the hotel manager, has been registered under relevant sections of the Immortal Traffic (Prevention) Act at Thanesar Sadar police station.
