Jaguar E-Pace Gets Chequered Flag Special Edition In The UK

Jaguar has extended the Chequered Flag lineup with a new special edition of the E-Pace. Launched in the UK from £40,050 ($52,296/€46,599), £11,105 ($14,501/€12,921) more than the base model, it has a number of visual updates and a comprehensive list of standard gear.

Available in three colors called the Corris Grey, Yulong White and Photon Red, it features ‘Chequered Flag’ exterior side badging, R-Dynamic body-colored bumpers, LED headlights, twin tailpipes, 19-inch wheels with a Satin Dark Gray look and the Black Exterior Pack.

The ‘Chequered Flag’ treadplates greet users upon opening the doors, while the cabin has Ebony Grained leather upholstery with red stitching. Electrically adjustable heated front seats, R-Dynamic branded steering wheel, black gearshift paddles and Ebony Morzine headliner are all part of the package. The special edition E-Pace also comes with a 12.3-inch TFT display, 10-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry and electric tailgate.

Jaguar’s Smart Settings, a system that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to learn the habits of drivers, anticipating their needs and capable of adjusting the seats, climate control and infotainment system by recognizing their smartphone Bluetooth signal or key fob as they approach the car, is optional. The Adaptive Dynamics, Pet Packs and other accessories are also available for this model.

The E-Pace Chequered Flag is offered with a choice of four engines, two diesels, with 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) and 180 PS (177 hp / 132 kW), and two petrol units that deliver 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW) and 249 PS (245 hp / 183 kW), all of them with automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive.
