Bharti Airtel today relaunched its flagship customer program — Airtel Thanks. The program was initially launched in October last year, the program offered its customers who commit a monthly ARPU of ₹100 rewards such as premium access to Airtel's apps ( Wynk, Airtel TV, Airtel Books), Amazon Prime, ZEE5 and Netflix subscriptions and exclusive offers on sales on ecommerce platforms.
This year, Airtel has segregated the program with Silver, Gold, Platinum tiers. The higher your tier, the better benefits you get.
Silver tier is an entry to the world of basic content - AirtelTV and Wynk.
With Gold, customers get access to many add on telecom benefits, and great value access on premium content or financial services.
With Platinum, customers will get VIP service from Airtel, premium content, e-books, device protection, and exclusive invites and priority access to events and sales.
Airtel has also launched a new bundle worth ₹299 that provides Amazon Prime membership, 2.5 GB/day and unlimited calls for 28 days. Airtel says the Amazon Prime benefits to its new prepaid pack is an industry first.
The Amazon Prime membership gets activated through Airtel Thanks app. You can then access Prime Video on all supported devices. Customers can enjoy the Prime access as long as they are active on the bundle.
Airtel says the Airtel Thanks app uses strong data-science and segmentation algorithms to customize the user experiences, based on user interests and profiles.
“#AirtelThanks is an ambitious program that is built on deep technology and incredible partnerships. In its latest avatar, we are evolving the program to deliver highly differentiated experiences that are tailored to our customers’ needs. We are also segmenting our customer base and ensuring that our high value customers get VIP service. We are investing in data science, machine learning and smart APIs to develop these experiences in partnership with digital first brands like Amazon. We are excited about the future of this program and our customers can expect more brilliant experiences in the coming months," said Adarsh Nair, Chief Product Officer, Bharti Airtel.
