Lenovo L38111 affordable phone with triple-rear cameras appears on TENAA

“The new Lenovo smartphone will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and come in three storage/ RAM variants”

An unknown Lenovo device has appeared on the Chinese certification site TENAA. The smartphone carries the model number L38111 and the website has revealed all its specifications. Going by the model number, it appears that the upcoming Lenovo L38111 could be an affordable phone from the company. The device had also received Bluetooth and 3C certifications early last month. Unfortunately, none of the websites have revealed the actual name of the phone, but looking at the specifications, it could be a competitor for the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The TENAA listing suggests that the Lenovo L38111 will have a triple-rear camera setup. It also includes images of the device, which reveal the design and the camera placement. Going by the images, the phone has a vertical triple-rear camera setup and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The side profile of the phone reveals that it has a slight camera bump.

The triple-rear camera setup at the back will consist of a primary 16-megapixel sensor, which will be paired with two other sensors of unknown resolution. For selfies, the phone will feature a single camera in the front, though the resolution has not been revealed by the certification site. The images also reveal that the phone has a waterdrop notch at the front.

Coming to the specifications, the Lenovo L38111 has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LCD display with slim bezels. Internally, the phone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, but we aren’t sure of the make or model of the chipset, which will be paired with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM options. Buyers will be able to choose between 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage options, which will be expandable up to 256GB. It will come with a 3,930mAh battery, which could feature fast charging, but isn’t specified in the listing. However, the Bluetooth and 3C certification had revealed that the phone comes with 18W fast charging. The phone is also listed to run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box on TENAA.

The model number of the phone tells us that it could be a K-series device, since previous K series phones from Lenovo have also carried similar model numbers. We will have to wait to find out more, so stay tuned.
