Cookies are a hit among both children and adults
There's something about a rich and dense cookie that can instantly cheer us up. Make it more chocolate-y and it becomes the highlight of the day. Crisp from outside and moist inside, cookies can be enjoyed standalone, some people also like to pair it with a hot cup of milk or tea. While a lot of us often get our stock in advance from our favourite bakeries, there is nothing like baking it at home and have it fresh and soft. Cookies are a hit among both children and adults; it is strange as to how it evokes a child in all of us. No matter how old you are, you would always hate sharing that last piece of cookie with your sibling or friend.

This delicious recipe of brownie cookies by Deeba Rajpal shared by her on her YouTube channel 'Passionate About Baking' is perfect for days you are craving lots and lots of chocolate. They are rich, wholesome and oh-so indulgent. You can make them with handful of ingredients that you can find in any store near you. You would need some whole wheat flour, quick cooking oats, baking soda, baking powder, dark chocolate, unsalted butter, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. This recipe does not use eggs, which makes these cookies ideal for vegetarians too. The recipe also uses Greek yogurt and brown sugar instead of cream and regular sugar, which gives it a healthy spin.
