Suspected Maoists blew up at least one van carrying security personnel here on Wednesday afternoon in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. According to reports, Maoists targeted a vehicle carrying security personnel and used IED explosives. According to ANI reports, 10 commandos lost their lives in the blast.
Earlier in the day, Naxals set fire to 27 machines and vehicles at a road construction site in Kurkheda of Gadchiroli district. Earlier this month, CRPF personnel had engaged with Naxals in an encounter in Gadchiroli.
