Pedestrian killed by Brisbane train, service suspended and diversions in place
A pedestrian has died, resulting in Shorncliffe trains being suspended in both directions between Shorncliffe and Northgate stations in Brisbane's north on Wednesday.
Commuters were facing up to 60 minutes of delays and TransLink said buses were replacing trains.
Police were called to the incident about 4.40am near Deagon station, 19 kilometres north of Brisbane CBD.
Commuters were facing up to 90 minutes of delays, but this was revised to 60 minutes about 6.50am.
Police investigations were ongoing.
