A high school north of Brisbane was locked down on Wednesday after multiple people phoned through to police saying they had seen a naked man in the area.

Police received the first report just before 9am that the man was seen on Lavarack Road in Bray Park near Bray Park State High School and the Anam Cara Aged Care Community directly opposite.

The school went into lockdown, police searched the grounds and found no trace of the man.

Officers gave the school the all-clear about 9.40am.
