Steve's controversial works aren't easy to miss - one of his innovations include the Metal Mohawk (pictured) where spikes protrude from the scalp and modifications for Dennis Avner, the Nevada man who spent years trying to morph his body into that of a cat

These body modification enthusiasts opted to have implants placed under the skin of their hands, one (pictured left) sports a star design and a compass sign as well as three lumps, while another person (pictured right) has three circles protruding from their wrist 

Three men have their face cut by a procedure that prevents the healing of the skin. One man (pictured left) has jagged lines across his cheek and nose, reaching towards his forehead. Steve is famed in the close-knit community of extreme cosmetic surgery for his elfin ears prowess, a craze which sees sci-fi fans have the top of their cartilage sliced and sewed back together in a point. His operation costs $600 for both ears and takes about 20 minutes, but he is not allowed to use any anesthetic as he is not a doctor

Two men rock horns at the top of their foreheads. Silicone implants can be repeatedly removed, with larger ones added when the skin is ready, leaving a more dramatic effect. However, users face several health risks, including infection, tissue resorption, nerve and muscle pressure, migration, and implant rejection, among others

Embracing a sea-vibe, these men not only have their skin inked blue but also have implants underneath their flesh to give the illusion of gills

Speaking about his line of work, Steve (pictured) said: 'There are a lot of people out there who have an inner vision of themselves and want to express that to the world around them. I'm very happy to be an artist that can provide that kind of work'
