Actor Prateik Babbar is a romantic when it comes to his wife Sanya Sagar. To celebrate her birthday on Wednesday, the actor took off from film sets at midnight to bring her a cake, some flowers and a gift.

He posted a picture of the two as they shared a kiss at their home after cutting her birthday cake. “I took off from set last night on my dinner break & surprised her at 12:00 with flowers a cake & some prezzies.. tho i think she knew id show up somehow.. even if just for 5 minutes to cut her cake.. sing her happy birthday & rush back to work.. because that’s the only way id be for who you are my love!.. & what you do for me!.. my rock!.. my warrior!.. my wife!.. my queen! happy birthday!,” he captioned the picture.

Sanya, too, shared a picture of the bouquet and her new iPhone, a present from Prateik. “My lil one is the cutest! He was busy on a shoot all night, but he surprised me at 12 with this ginormous Bouquet a cute lil love Note and a brand new Phone he spoils me totally I love you very much my baby cakes,” she captioned the picture.

Prateik and Sanya tied the knot in Lucknow on January 23 in a traditional Marathi-style wedding.When asked about how married life is treating him, Prateik told HT, “So far so good! Everybody is alive. No one’s gone to jail so yeah. No I’m just kidding. I am very grateful.”

The two got caught up in a controversy recently when they shared a risque photograph of them on Instagram on Valentine’s Day. The actor and his wife were attacked in the comments section, with several Instagram users demanding he take the image down. “How can you pose for such a pic?” one person wrote. “Really awful. Just for publicity,” wrote another.

Prateik was last seen in Amazon Prime’s Four More Shots Please as a bartender. He will next be seen in Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor.
