“The Pro variant is said to pack 6.7-inch curved display, pop-up selfie slider, 12GB RAM, and 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging”
OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro flagships are set to debut at the May 14th event in the USA, India and Europe. Earlier today, the retail packaging of the Pro variant, revealing the box content has surfaced online. Now, ahead of the launch, a OnePlus 7 Pro variant with model number GM1917 has appeared on Geekbench benchmarks platform, revealing that it will pack a whopping 12GB of RAM, be powered by the Snapdragon 855 7nm SoC and will run on Android 9.0 with the latest Oxygen OS on top.
The handset has scored 3551 points in single core test and 11012 in the multi-core test, which is quite impressive. The OnePlus 7 Pro said to come with 6.7-inch quad HD+ AMOLED curved display, and the screen was recently rated A+ by ‘DisplayMate’. It is likely to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader and face unlock for biometric security. A full-page ad in The New York Times from a couple of days ago revealed the illustration of the phone’s internals, along with the elevating selfie camera to accommodate a notch-less display.
Separately, live images of the OnePlus 7 Pro’s tempered glass covers have been leaked online, showcasing the curved screen design yet again. The display will be curved to the sides, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S series, and there will be a relatively bigger chin at the bottom. Unlike the standard variant, the Pro variant will feature triple rear cameras consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto secondary lens with 3x optical zoom, and a third 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. On the front, it is said to have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats. A 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge fast charging support will fuel the phone.
