BHARWARI (KAUSHAMBI): The common man, coming at the venue to listen to the speech of PM
Narendra Modi at Bhawan Mehta school of Bharwari faced a tough time when some of them were not allowed the entry inside the venue because part or the entire dress that they were wearing had black colour.
Cops posted at the main gate of the huge campus of the school did not allow anyone wearing a black coloured dress. While boys were asked to leave their black coloured caps, mufflers etc on the gate and only then they were permitted to enter the campus.
TOI spotted a family arguing with the cops for letting the girl with them enter the premises but the police were adamant that she cannot be allowed as she was wearing a black coloured dress and
dupatta.
Likewise, a youth was being asked to either remove his black coloured shirt or leave the premises.
Similarly, several items like water bottle, pan-masala,
bidi or cigarette were not allowed inside the main tent.
“We have made arrangements of water inside the tent and asking them to leave the bottle as who knows someone could start throwing them, same is the case with black coloured attires because anyone can use the same to mark his or her protest”, said one of the police officer posted at the venue
