Elderly litigant dies of heart attack in court

Vadodara: A senior citizen litigant died after suffering a cardiac arrest in district court building on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased, who was identified as Kanhaiyalal Jagiyasi (62), was present in the court of additional senior civil judge N N Pathar on the fourth floor of the court building. Eye-witnesses said that around 3 pm, Jagiyasi walked out of the court room after feeling uneasy and then collapsed. He was rushed to the ground floor where a 108 GVK-EMRI ambulance was called.
Sources said that the paramedical staff continuously administered CPR to Jagiyasi on the way to a private hospital near Manisha crossroads. However, he was declared dead before getting admitted. His body was then taken to SSG Hospital for post-mortem.
