SSLC examination: students can apply for re-totalling from May 2

Students who have completed Class X examinations can apply for re-totalling from May 2, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) said.

According to the circular issued by DGE, students can apply for re-totalling for three days - May 2 to 4 - through their schools. Private candidates may apply through their respective examination centres.

A fee of ₹ 305 must be paid for Part – I Language and Part – II English papers. For Part – III mathematics, science and social science and Part – IV optional language, a fee of ₹ 205 must be paid, the circular said.

The fees must be paid in cash at schools or the examination centres in the case of private candidates. Students were instructed to safeguard the acknowledgement slip they receive during the application process, as the application number is necessary to access the details of re-totalling online.

Special supplementary examinations

Special supplementary public examinations for Class X students will be held from June 14 to 22. The examinations are for the students who either could not pass or were unable to attend the public examinations held in March. The dates and methods for application will be announced soon, the circular said.
