Jaipur : 2019: Bharti AXA General Insurance, a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises, one of India’s leading business groups, and AXA, one of the world’s largest insurance companies, today announced its alliance with leading financial marketplace Wishfin through its insurance arm ‘wishpolicy.com’ to offer two-wheeler insurance to customers via instant messaging platform ‘WhatsApp’.
Bharti AXA General Insurance is the first company in the domestic non-life insurance industry to provide its customers with the first-of-its-kindservice option of buying two-wheeler insurance on WhatsApp.
This is an instant and additional customer service option for the policyholders, apart from the company’s multiple channels, including its vast network of branches, robust customer care and contact centre, dynamic portal and intelligent chatbot.
Wishfin has launched ‘Buy Two-Wheeler Insurance on WhatsApp’ through web aggregator Wishfin Insurance, which is available on its site www.wishpolicy.com, provided by Bharti AXA General Insurance.

Notably, about a year ago, Wishfin had partnered with WhatsApp for testing its business solutions. It has used WhatsApp business for servicing its customers and planned to drive transactions on WhatsApp, which has more than 200 million daily active users in India.
Buying two-wheeler insurance is fully online process and no manual intervention is required. Customers can buy two-wheeler insurance on WhatsApp by simply giving a missed call to 8527844822 and chatting on instant messenger service WhatsApp. Alternatively, consumers can start WhatsApp chat by clicking on the link https://wishpolicy.com/minsure/ and sharing their numbers.
Customer has to provide his/her registration number and few details before making the payment on the channel. The customer gets instant policy through WhatsApp.
The technology-led service differentiator helps the customers view and download policy and renewal premium receipt instantly and the policyholders to communicate with the company smoothly and effortlessly.
