Signature campaign organized by students for compulsory voting

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Vikramaditya College students have staged a Signature Rally under “Voter Awareness Campaign” and gave away a message of compulsory voting to make 100 percent polling successful in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election 2019 which will be held on 12th May.

The signing campaign was inaugurated by the college Principal, Dr Deepika Singh and during this all the staff resolved to vote.This rally was started from Vikramaditya College MP Nagar Zone-1 and passed through while giving the message of compulsory voting by taking the signatures of the people working in the establishments of MP Nagar Zone 2, petrol pump, passers-by passing from Jyoti Talkies intersection, Press Complex MP Nagar.

This campaign ended in the Vikramaditya college premises. College Principal Dr. Deepika Singh while addressing the students said that all the students should resolve that they will explain the importance of compulsory voting to their parents and neighbors and will also cooperate to make compulsory voting.

It is significant that Campus Ambassador has been formed by the Election Commission in the colleges with the help of NSS. Vikramaditya’s college campus ambassador Arpita Tiwari inspired students to vote.

All staff and students of the college join the rally.
