Congress has decided to field former MP Dig Vijaya Singh from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency. At present this parliamentary seat is held by Alok Sanjar from BJP. Meenakshi Natarajan, a close associate of Congress President Rahul Gandhi will contest from Mandsaur. He is locking horns once again from this constituency with Sudhir Gupta who is a sitting MP representing BJP from Mandsaur. The list announced by Congress also has three women candidates. Kavita Singh Natiraja will be fielded from Khajuraho, Kiran Ahirwar will contest from Tikamgarh and Pramila Singh will face the elections from Shahdol. Shailendra Diwan is nominated from Hoshangabad and former Union minister and sitting MP Kantilal Bhuria will fight from Ratlam.
