Telangana Intermediate exam muddle is a Rs 10,000-cr scam, alleges Revanth

HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress working president A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday alleged that the muddle in Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is a Rs 10,000-crore scam with a mafia of corporate colleges managing a private agency to ensure that good marks are given to its students.
At a press conference here, Revanth said that parents spend Rs 1 lakh on each student per annum and every year about 10 lakh students pursue Intermediate education. He charged TRS working president KT Rama Rao with lying about Globarena Technologies. “Magnetic Infotech and Globarena Technologies are two different names but people running these two agencies are same. Globarena Technologies got the Intermediate exams contract and Magnetic Infotech bagged Eamcet deal when KTR was serving as a minister in KCR cabinet. People running Magnetic Infotech are friends of KTR,” Revanth alleged.

Stating that the data of Intermediate students was given to a private agency in violation of rules, the Congress leader wondered how could an agency against which criminal cases had been booked by JNTU-Kakinada authorities get the contract of Intermediate exam results.
He said those at the helm of these two agencies should be arrested immediately and Globarena stripped of the contract.
