NEW DELHI: In a relief to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish
Sisodia and
Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav, a Delhi court on Monday cancelled the non-bailable warrants (NBWs) issued against them in a criminal defamation complaint filed by advocate Surender Kumar Sharma.
Appearing for the accused persons, advocate Mohammed Irshad had filed an application for cancelling the NBWs, saying there was a confusion over who was directed by the court to appear in the case.
The contention was accepted by additional chief metropolitan magistrate Samar Vishal . Sharma had alleged that in 2013 he was approached by AAP volunteers to contest the assembly elections and then denied ticket.
