Journalist shot dead in NW Pakistan

A Pakistani was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in northwest on Tuesday.

The Amanullah Gharoka, who was the of a press club, was travelling to a village in Parova area bordering South Waziristan when some unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike, fired at him, killing him on the spot, police said.

The attackers fled the scene immediately after committing the crime.

The local press club condemned the killing of the and strongly deplored the failure of police in combating the increasing target killing incidents in the area.
