After about three years of wait, we will finally see Suriya starrer NGK: Nandha Gopalan Kumaran in 2019. The film was announced by the director Selvaraghavan in 2016 and it finally went on floors earlier this year. The film is a political action thriller and is a first of its kind for Suriya. Earlier, the makers of the film were eyeing for Diwali 2018 release, but now after a long wait, it will hit the screens this year.
On Monday, the official trailer for NGK was unveiled much to the excitement of the fans. The trailer starts with people chanting Suriya's character name NGciting him as a politician. In this two-min video, we see how NGK is honest and cannot go the corruption way which puts his life at stake. His near and dear ones tell him to stay away from politics, but his love for the nation makes him think otherwise.

NGK also stars Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads. Directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by S. R. Prakashbabu & S. R. Prabhu, the much-awaited flick will be hitting the screens on May 31, 2019.
About a couple of weeks back, the first song from NGK titled 'Thandalkaaran' was released. The track is sung by K.G. Ranjith and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the lyrics are penned by Kabilan. Take a look below:
