Odia youth shoots Hindi short film

Dayanidhi Dahima, who is known in the Smart City as a good adman, is venturing into Bollywood with a Hindi short film. The youngster, known as Entertainment Wala Daya, has been creatively associated in the making of an upcoming short movie called Nawab.

This short film has a power-packed star cast that includes some popular names from Bollywood such as Aparshakti Khurana, Geetika Vidya, Maria Goretti, Mallika Dua and Zarina Wahab.
“This is my first such work in the Hindi film industry. As I believe in small steps, I took up this project of a short film with some big actors of the industry. The movie is basically on adoption of dogs. Since I am a dog lover, I preferred this script and it has all the elements to touch the hearts of young viewers,” said Dayanidhi. He also added that music for this short film would be given by the popular musician and music director, Pritam.
The young filmmaker, who has done a course in cinematography from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, was working as a celebrity manager before jumping into ad filmmaking. A well-known face in Bhubaneswar, he claims that his work in the Hindi film industry will help other people from the state to pursue their passion.
The shooting for the short film has already begun “Coming from a small town, it is not an easy job for anyone to establish themselves in the Hindi film industry. I hope that I will be among those few Odia filmmakers to make a mark there,’ said the youngster.
